penguin planet

The first time I saw a penguin in the wild was in New Zealand when a little blue penguin surfaced close to the ferry I was traveling on. Something clicked and I became totally fascinated with these small birds with big attitude. Penguins are a staple of the southern ocean, each species has it’s own personality and are one of my favorite subjects to photograph… from Tierra del Fuego to the ice shelves of Antarctica.
